MIAMISBURG WOMAN ARRESTED ON FEDERAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF A MINOR CHARGES

J. Mark Batts, Acting Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Cincinnati Division, and Gregory G. Lockhart, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, announced that Kendra L. Sasser, age 30, Miamisburg, Ohio, was arrested by FBI agents without incident at her residence this morning.

Sasser has been charged in a federal complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio with a violation of Title 18, U.S. Code Section 2251(a), Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Maximum punishment permitted under federal law upon conviction of this crime is a minimum mandatory term of imprisonment for15 up to 30 years. In addition FBI agents executed a federal search warrant at Sasser's home.

The federal complaint charges that since July of this year Sasser enticed a teen age male through the use of MySpace.com and XBox Live to produce images and videos of child pornography.

Sasser will appear before a U.S. Magistrate today at the U.S. District Courthouse in Dayton for an Initial Appearance on the federal charge. The Magistrate will determine if bond will be permitted.

The public is reminded that criminal complaints are mere allegations of criminal conduct and that subjects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
